Allergic to Cats?
I’ve got a strange situation and I’m wondering if any of you can help me? I live in a apartment complex and this old woman just bought home a kitten and its pissing me off because she lets it out in the hall ways and its always doing cat noises and scratching at the carpets and I just extreme dislike cats!
I’m wondering if there are any doctors or any one else that has had a medical report stating that they are allergic to cats? Like anyone have any idea what I can put in the report stating that I’m allergic?
Answer:
As a responsible pet owner, she should keep her cat inside so that others are not worried. Some areas have laws against this , I know my state does. There is a leash law here that extends to cats as well. Call the local animal control and ask them what you can legally do so that the cat is not a nuisance to you.
She’s got a large pair of coconuts to tell you to get a medical note to get rid of the cat. She doesn’t necessarily have to get rid of the cat but she should keep it inside her house.
You can in fact get tested by a Medical Allergy Specialist (Allergist). This is where I learned I had hay fever, and my allergy to cats, when i was actually trying to see if i was allergic to bee stings.
