The male rate of depression before the birth of their first child mirrors that of women; and 52 percent reported dramatically lower sexual frequency even after their baby was one year old.

According a survey of 813 adults ages 19 to 39: 31 percent of normal-weight women think they are overweight, compared to only five percent of normal-weight men who think they are overweight; 25 percent of normal-weight men believe they are underweight, compared to five percent of normal-weight women who think they are underweight. Almost 50 percent of overweight men think of themselves as of normal weight, while only four percent of overweight women think they’re normal weight.

Middle-aged British couples are five times more likely to fantasise about having a dog than a lover.
