Correct my golf slice

Is there one foolproof tip that’ll help me correct my golf slice?

answer:
Absolutely. But first you have to understand why it’s happening. “At the moment of impact, your clubface is pointing to the right [assuming you're a righty],” explains Laird Small, director of the Pebble Beach Golf Academy in California. This gives the ball a clockwise spin and causes it to shoot off to the right. (If your clubface were to point left at impact, the ball would spin counterclockwise and hook.) To correct your slice and avoid a hook, you need to hit the ball with a squared clubface. Do this by loosening your grip and allowing your arms to roll through the shot. Here’s an exercise that will give you a feel for that “crossover”: Take the club in your left hand and, holding the upper half of that arm firmly against your side, swing the club back and through the ball. Your left arm should move only at the elbow joint. This will force you to roll your arm through the shot and impart some straight-flying backspin to the ball.

What is Richter Scale?

The Richter scale was invented in the 1930s by Dr. Charles Ritcher, a seismologist at the California Institute of Technology. It is a measure of the largest seismic wave recorded on a particular kind of seismograph located 100 km from the epicenter. The wave height is measured by seismograph (type of pendulum with an ink pen or digital recorder) and the output is called seismograms.
As the measurement is based on logarithmic scale, a wave 1 mm (1000 microns) high on a seismogram has magnitude of 3 (because log(1000) =3). Similarly, a wave10  millimeters high would have a magnitude of 4. For reasons that a factor of 10 change in the wave height corresponds to a factor of 32 change in the amount of energy released during the earthquake, magnitude 7 earthquake produces waves
10 x 10 = 100 times as high and release energy 32 x 32
= 1024 times as great as a magnitude 5 earthquake.
Therefore in general sense, an earthquake of 8 RS is not twice as strong as the 4 RS earthquake but many thousand times stronger than 4.

Measuring Earthquakes

There are two ways in which we can quantify the size of earthquakes: magnitude and intensity. Magnitude is a measure of the amount of energy released during an earthquake. Almost everytime, when an earthquake occurs, we hear news reports on the magnitude of the earthquake using the Richter scale. Magnitude of an earthquake is a single number regardless of where it originates and where it’s felt but intensity will vary from place to place.
Using a simple analogy to illustrate the intensity and magnitude, is dropping a stone into a water pond, the difference between magnitude and intensity is similar to the difference between the height of the splash exactly where the stone hit the water and the height of the waves over the pool.
Therefore in general, the intensity is greater near the epicenter than at large distances from the epicenter.
This decrease in intensity with distance is known as attenuation. Earthquakes are measured by seismographs.

EARTHQUAKE TIPS

DURING AN EARTHQUAKE
When you feel an earthquake, duck under a desk or sturdy table. Stay away from windows, bookcases, file cabinets, heavy mirrors, hanging plants, and other heavy objects that could fall. Watch out for falling plaster and ceiling tiles. Stay under cover until the shaking stops.

Hold onto your cover. If it moves, move with it. Here are some additional tips for specific locations.

What is the link between health and human rights?

There are complexlinkages between health and human rights:
• Violations or lack of attention to human rights can have serious health consequences;
• Health policies and programmes can promote or violate human rights in the ways they are designed or implemented;
• Vulnerability and the impact of ill health can be reduced by taking steps to respect, protect and fulfil human rights.

What are human rights?

Human rights are legally guaranteed by human rights law, protecting individuals and groups against actions that interfere with fundamental freedoms and human dignity.

They encompass what are known as civil, cultural, economic, political and social rights. Human rights are principally concerned with the relationship between the individual and the state. Governmental obligations with regard to human rights broadly fall under the principles of respect, protect and fulfil.

Limiting cell phone usage for teenager

My daughter can not control her phone usage and is breaking my bank. Can I somehow limit her outgoing calls with any new technology or prepayment plan of some kind?

Answer:
You could look at setting her up on a prepaid plan so she only has a set amount of minutes a month. You may even look into getting her a “Firefly” handset which limits the calls she makes to two numbers.
Get her a pre-paid plan. Then after she use’s up her minutes that you purchase her, if she wants any more, have her purchase her own minutes.
Having to pay with her own money has made a big difference.

Aspartame Disease Addiction and side effect

I begin researching the web  to find that addiction to diet coca cola can cause mood swings, blurring of vision ,dizziness, weight gain, irritability, water retention, hyper activity and much more the culprit being aspartame and is known as aspartame disease.

Diet sodas have been confirmed to cause weight-gain and we should stay away from them at all costs. Aspartame is also in foods like dehydrated soups.

Sugar free products are advertised as “no harmful sugar” but then the substitutes are destructive. Even with the Popsicles for children….no sugar category makes parents feel good but what happens to the GI tract after years of sugar substitute exposure?

Western medication says they may have “sought out” the caffeine or sugar sub, so consider an addiction behavior. Eastern medication says he possibly has a deficiency of energy, may need an herbal tonic. Another medicine puts him in a picture like candida overgrowth.

Tips for developing a good email promoting your product

1. Be sincere (don’t guarantee 100% increase in productivity if it won’t get you a 100% increase. If you do this, will fail at building the relationship)

2. Directly to the point (don’t devastate the readers time, they’ll probably spend less than 20 seconds looking at your email. So make it short and nice.

3. Use the subject line to your advantage (this could be the only thing that the decision maker see, so they need to know that this is not spamm)

4. Build up a relationship (this is tough to do with an email, but be personal. Find out the decision makers name,  address the email to him. Make the email feel like you are talking to him, and not to many companies. Personally, I would recommend developing an individual email for each company.)

Some advise on promoting business

I was wondering if anyone has any ideas on how promote or make people aware of my services.

Answer:
Target relevant newspapers in your area and write a press release sending it to the relevant media.
You could also try direct mail, such as a brochure drop in the area you’ve targeted. If you want to check the effectiveness of the leaflet drop, it might be an idea to add a reference number or color strip along the bottom, that way you can evaluate the effectiveness of it.

Online local business directories seem to rank quite highly on Google and other search engines – plus a lot of those are free.
Google Adwords – you can target ads by geographical location. As long as you know what you’re doing with Adwords it can be quite cost effective.

Networking. Get out and meet people through the Chamber of Commerce breakfasts, and any other local networking occasion that gets you in front of prospective customers. Be active, get to speak to as many people as you can, give them your card, collect theirs and follow up to see if they need you services or who they know who would need them.
