Computer Microphone
Why use this instead of typing? Why type when you can sit back, relax, keep your hands free and still get your message across? This omni-directional portable device offers flexible placement to suit whichever position you choose to sit at and is good for conferencing where multiple people can speak into the mike at any one time. It functions like a speaker phone and gives good audio quality for speech. If your desk resembles a rubbish dump,
and you cannot afford any space to position the microphone, built-in options into the keyboard or monitor are available. Besides, prices are reasonable and the product is readily available at almost all good computer stores.
Does Your Website Need Some CAPTCHA?
By Craig Ritsema
Many Business website owners have faced this problem: They want to provide a function on their site for visitors to send feedback to them without opening the floodgates to spammers.
Posting your email address on your website is generally an invitation for spam. Automated programs better known as “bots” will eventually scan your website and parse out your email address from the rest of the source code and use it for purposes other than what you intended.
Blackberry, the Mobile Solution for Professionals
Indosat now provides Blackberry from Matrix as a complete, integrated mobile office. Among the facilities it includes are e-mail access, telephone, SMS, organizer (calendar, address book, memoPad and tasks), calendar synchronization, and mobile data service. This service requires a GPRS (general packet radio service) network for all the features to function properly.
Blackberry has also introduced ‘push mail’ technolog which enables customers to access their e-mail without having to dial up first. The service is also connected to the GPRS, providing real time data streaming. Black berry also has a greatly increased level of security, as it uses the Triple DES encryption method. Its browsing capability is also high thanks to its 1 O-megabyte internet capacity. And all the data are stored on the server, so the user does not need to worry that the data will be lost if the Blackberry handset is lost or needs to be reinstalled.
Indosat, in cooperation with Research In Motion, the device’s producer from Canada, provides the Blackberry type 7730 handset, a Java-based handset with wide screen resolution that supports up to 65,000 colours. The keypad, using standard QWERTY typewriter layout, is easy to operate using two thumbs to write e-mail or SMS For more information, see www.indosat.com.

Web Design – The Pros and Cons of Flash
By Lucy Bartlett
Firstly what is flash? Well Flash refers to both the Macromedia Flash Player and to a multimedia authoring program used to create content it (such as games and movies). The Flash Player is a client application available in most web browsers. It features support for vector and raster graphics, a scripting language called ActionScript and bidirectional streaming of audio and video. Macromedia Flash is the integrated development environment (IDE) and Flash Player is the virtual machine used to run the Flash files, but nowadays these terms have become mixed: “Flash” can mean either the authoring environment, the player, or the application files.

What is microwave
Some call it magic
It’s been called the wave of the future — today. Some call it magic. But everyone who has had a close encounter with a microwave thinks it is the greatest thing since the discovery of fire — and a whole lot cleaner.
To set the record straight right from the beginning, the microwave oven is not intended to totally replace conventional cooking means. It will, however, cook anywhere from 75-90% of foods prepared by conventional cooking methods — more, in fact, depending on personal preference as to how one might like something cooked.
